In more detail: Rachel and her little sister decide to hang out with a couple of friends sitting around a campfire in an isolated campground that people have allegedly deemed to be the exact location where a ferocious beastly monster takes away and murders misbehaving people from the camp out area. Her story-obsessive best friend retells the group one of the campfire monster tales to scare everyone in an attempt to entertain. After a heated argument stirs, everyone decides to go to bed early. To her dismay, Rachel finds herself as the main character of the unforeseen story when she wakes in the middle of the night to find that everyone is missing, including her little sister. In the middle of her search, she finds the location in which the murders occur, how they occur, and the perpetrator behind the acts.
