Detective Sara Acharya has made up her mind to retire. A personal tragedy has shattered the zeal and dedication she once had for the job. But before she can close the chapter on her police career, there is one last case she needs to solve: the Blue Screwdriver murders.
A series of five torture killings committed during the summer of 2009, the Blue Screwdriver case has remained unsolved for a decade and forever changed the city of Saint-Jude. Determined to once and for all find the killer and give the families of the victims peace, Detective Acharya and her colleagues will once again investigate the brutal slayings that traumatised the little Vermont town.
But the question is whether the murderer is truly done and whether he might be closer to them than expected...
