Tinsel Hannity knows the nightmare is behind her now, but she is still embittered by the experience. Mason meets her and is annoyed, intrigued, and turned on by her, in that precise order. He's been paid to find her, but he is also curious to know why she ran in the first place. She is extraordinarily difficult and cold, and he can't imagine why any man would want her back, but in little more than 24 hours, despite a blizzard, he manages to melt that icy disposition. And he soon discovers that being in her bed is not the same as being in her confidence, and he still can't get the answer he wants most to the question he keeps asking.
