WHAT IF SAYING YES IS LOSING?

Urs Onsager thinks it's time he settled down. He grew up in a home where love was weaponized, so he doesn't trust the emotion, but he believes in commitment and the institution of marriage. His girlfriend, Carla Adams, believes the opposite. She saw how marriage made a fool of her mother and a callous brute of her father, so she wants no part of the institution. Love, though, she believes in, because she has fallen deeply in love with Urs, despite her determination not to. He doesn't know that, though, and when he issues her an ultimatum regarding their relationship, she is stunned and shattered. The choice he gives her is to marry him or lose him. If for her, marrying him is the same as losing him, what kind of choice is that?
