      Narrators Joe Arden and Maxine Mitchell deliver spot-on performances in this romance, a beautifully twisted modern take on ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND. Alex Little, portrayed by Mitchell, doesn't know what she's getting into when she takes a mysterious job offer from Matt Hatter until she is neck-deep in corruption and falling hard and fast for him. Arden's portrayal of Hatter adds an extra layer to this unique story with his sensual and well-paced reading. Even though Mitchell's voice seems a bit mature for his character at times, this small detail is easily overlooked while one is immersed in this enjoyable story.
