L.A. Theatre Works delivers another delightful production of a Moliere play. In this one, his earliest successful work in verse (also known as The Blunderer), a servant tries to find love for his master, only to watch the inept beneficiary of his schemes flub them time and again. Filled with Moliere's characteristic wit, charm, and rhyme schemes, this well-executed production features a talented cast including Richard Easton, Adam Godley, and Christopher Neame. Despite the high quality, the quick pace and all of the rhyming may make it difficult for the uninitiated to follow the story on a first listen. Recommended for fans of audio dramas, comedies, and romantic comedies.--Lance Eaton, Peabody, MA
