The Vale of Sylfan

Pale with delicate fingers, the hand rose from the water, the flash of gold from her ring caught the eagle's eye as the arm rose higher welcoming the birth of a new day. The Lady could already feel the approach of visitors from the world of the mortals as she watched the eagle dip her wings in reverence; for the bird knew this Lady Lapis, this elven goddess of the healing waters.
