The Terrene Empire consists of a thousand worlds in the known Universe. In the search for a new place to call home, Humans colonised freely, and many worlds even forgot they were part of the Empire.
On Pleione, Sakura has grown into a stubborn young lady, as well as being a powerful Ichao student with an independent frame of mind and a taste for adventure. Unfortunately, this clashes with her mother's plans for her future, and after another argument with Lady Maiku, she walks into town to calm down. But a winter storm sweeps in, and she is nowhere to be found afterward.
Sakura's sometime companion, Maiya, Chief Messenger of Shuaruji Inari, is summoned to find her. She doesn't expect to have to go on an errand with a Yuki Onna for an Ice Dragon...
