Scarlett Thompson is a 17-year-old girl, and she's gotten herself into some deep trouble. Whenever a mysterious person moves to her small town, Growth, Illinois, she doesn't suspect a thing. But then, he threatens her with her life, and she must do a ritual to finish him off before he binds her to him for the rest of eternity. Along the way, she must figure out if she is truly human, or something greater. Only time will tell if she'll survive long enough to defeat him. Will she do it before time runs out?
